iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus: Apple investigating the percentage of battery may be incorrect

A bug exists in some iPhone and iPhone 6s 6s Plus. Apple explains in a note that the percentage of battery may not refresh properly, which can mislead the user. Example, the displayed percentage can be 80%, while it is actually 50%.

In his note, Apple thinks find out where the problem is: the clock. The firm invites its users to restart their iPhone and then go to Settings> General> Date & Time and make sure to enable "Automatic setting". If the problem persists with this setting, users are invited to contact Apple to eventually make an iPhone exchange.
A future update of iOS could correct the situation, Apple said to be aware of and investigate the matter. However, no progress is given, we do not yet know if everything will be fixed quickly. iOS 9.2.1 and iOS 9.3 are both in beta, it is possible that one of the two fixes the battery display problem on the latest iPhone.
Some users have noted this problem several months ago now, but they are very few. It is true that let users set "Auto Adjust" by default in most cases.
