Apple may introduce iMessage for Android at WWDC 2016

Suddenly!

During the presentation of the updated iOS 5 Scott Forstall (Senior Vice President iOS) presented his own messenger company - iMessage. This service allows you to exchange messages, photos, videos and audio recordings between the owners of Apple devices.

Up until today, iMessage is only "messenger for his." Work on third-party platforms like Android or Windows Phone, he can not. But this Monday everything can change.

According to the data resource MacDailyNews, Apple is preparing the launch iMessage for Android, and the announcement is scheduled for the upcoming conference WWDC 2016. If the rumors are true, then the millions of owners will be able to communicate with users of iOS-no problems of Android-smartphone, using the original client without additional tweaks.

In this situation, Apple is quite logical to make such a decision. Three weeks ago, at the conference Google I/O, it has been announced a new service for exchanging messages Allo. Adhering to the policy of containment of software products exclusively for its own platform, Apple runs the risk of completely lose influence on the market messengers.
